My real name is Reid Kane Kotlas, but I write and publish under the pen-name Reid Kane.
I work on the Marxist political philosophy, with significant influences from the Pittsburgh Hegelians (especially Brandom) and the ‘Western Marxists’ (especially Lukacs, Althusser, and Benjamin).
I am a recipient of a Masters’ Degree in Philosophy from the University of Dundee, and am currently plotting the future course of my academic work.
