The US president singing along, as best he can, to America’s greatest communist anthem. Tell me that’s not a good sign.

Am I the only one who listens to the amazing right wing fantasies that Mr Obama is a muslim/communist/kenyan/etc and thinks “Hell yeah, I hope so, cos that’d rock”.
It seems, alas reality has given us a rather innefective centrist president slightly hobbled by a mindlessly crazy right wing campaign to destablise him , thus preventing the government from doing what it was voted in to do, implement change.
But its not like nobody of merit ever accused the right of being particularly fond of democracy, nor the left of having backbones.
